T. Katsnelson commits to UC Davis!

Bothwell, CA- The Bothwell Selects are proud to announce that captain Timur Katsnelson has committed to UC Davis for Fall 2017! Congrats to Timur, and good luck!

Selects win CASHA Winter Classic

Bothwell, CA- The Bothwell Selects defeated the Los Angeles Gophers in game 7 triple overtime to capture the CASHA cup last Friday. Timur Katsnelson was the hero in game 7 scoring a beautiful goal late in the overtime period. The Selects started the tournament hot and found themselves having a 3-0 lead in the series. However, the Gophers were not going to go down without a fight as Jonathan Johnson and his squad came back soaring and sent the series to a decisive game 7. With rain making it a CASHA Winter Classic, it added to the dramatic, intense matchup. At the end of three periods, the score was 4-4 and the teams were gearing themselves up for overtime. With both teams getting chances at each end of the court, it was Bothwell captain, Timur Katsnelson, who sent the Gophers home and scored the overtime winning goal.

Anzai resigns with Selects

Bothwell, CA- Ruslan Katsnelson announced Sunday that the Selects have resigned former 1st overall draft pick Sam Anzai to a 7 tournament deal.

Selects re-sign Timur Katsnelson

Bothwell, CA- The Bothwell Selects have re-signed captain Timur Katsnelson to a 15 tournament contract for free. Timur says that it is an honor to play for the Selects, and that he is not doing it for the money. The Selects are also close to re-signing forward Alex Cathcart. He has 1 tournament left on his contract. Ruslan Katsnelson is also in the re-signing loop as he only has 2 tournaments left.

Anzai to stay in Bothwell

Bothwell, CA- The decision was made on a sunny, Monday afternoon on Bothwell. Just a day after the Selects won CASHA, General Manager Ruslan Katsnelson has decided to keep Sam Anzai on Bothwell. "We need him. Sam is a great hockey player, and he is just what we need to become a better team." Said GM Katsnelson. In less than a month, Selects assistant captain Alex Cathcart will return from Omaha. "We will keep 4 players and a goalie on Bothwell, we will make line changes during a game, which will benefit us because we wont get tired and we wont make as many mistakes with another substitute" said Katsnelson during a press conference. The Selects are waiting for Cathcart's return, as he is a big part to the Bothwell organization.

Selects win CASHA!

Oak Park, CA- The Bothwell Selects are your new defending CASHA champions! The Selects swept the Los Angeles Gophers in a best of seven series. Game 1 ended in a final score of 6-0, hat tricks to both the Katsnelson brothers. Game two was one to remember for rookie Sam Anzai as he set a Selects record for most goals in a single game with seven! Final score in game 2 was 7-2. The Gophers fought back in game 3 sending it to OT, but it was Timur Katsnelson who put it home and gave the Selects a 3-0 series lead. Game 4, With the Gophers facing elimination, Los Angeles played well and took a 1-0 lead after the first. Bothwell picked up the pace and Sam Anzai put two by Gophers goaltender Hank Andrews. The Selects won Game 4 4-3. Sam Anzai had a great start to his CASHA career, and Timur Katsnelson just keeps getting harder to reach in the all-time point scoring race. It was a well deserved championship and the Selects will be back on the court soon.

Bothwell, CA- The Bothwell Selects have traded prospect Christian Pepin to the Bar Down Benders and receive Nikolai Gruzdev. Gruzdev will be sent down to Melville.

Selects sign highly touted prospect

The Bothwell Selects are proud to announce the recent signing of prospect Gio Salzar! He signed a 2-way contract for 2 years, and will get a salary of $1. Good luck Gio!

R. Katsnelson sign's 6 tournament extension with the Selects

On Saturday, January 19, the Selects were talking to Ruslan and trying to extend his contract. The Selects did. They signed Katsnelson to a 6 tournament contract and an $8 cap hit. That makes him the highest payed player of all time. He still has 1 tournament left on his old contract. R. Katsnelson rejected a couple of the contracts that were offered. The Selects had troubles signing him. He finally accepted to this contract. "I just wanted to be a Select." said Ruslan Katsnelson after the signing. He will be one for another 7 tournaments.

Selects Skill Clinic's on Mondays/Thursdays!

Come out and have a fun filled hour of hockey on Monday and Thursday from 5p.m to 7p.m! Clinic's will be $5 each. Includes an hour of street hockey, and an hour of dry-land after. Hope to see you there!

The Bothwell Selects will be competing in the Dooms Day Duel! Come watch and support your favorite players, Timur Katsnelson, Ruslan Katsnelson, Alex Fillipov, and goaltender Alex Cathcart! This Saturday at West Lake Village, 3:00 p.m Pacific.

Selects are Ganza champions!!!

The Bothwell Selects are Ganza Street Hockey Classic champions!! They went undefeated in the tournament winning all three games. The Selects beat the Parents AAA team in a shootout. The final score was 1-0 with the game winning shootout goal going to Ruslan Katsnelson. Go Selects!
